Leaders

BSWF has a long history here at Heritage Ranch with exceptional women speakers facilitating weekly sessions.

Carolyn Purdy is our current BSWF President.  Carolyn, Rebecca Campbell, and Melanie Sanderson are our current study facilitators.  And each season they may be joined by several notable guest speakers.

They clearly love the Lord, do a tremendous amount of background research and preparation, resulting in high quality/high impact multi-media lessons

Carolyn Purdy

Carolyn Purdy is a local actress and a lifetime fisherman!  She serves as BSWF President as well as President of the Heritage Ranch Theatre Guild.  She earned her BA in Deaf Education from TCU.  She earned an MS degree in Business after retiring from teaching deaf children.  She moved to Heritage Ranch from Atlanta, Georgia in 2010.

Rebecca Campbell

Rebecca Campbell is an avid world traveler. She moved from New York City to Heritage Ranch in 2016 after retiring as a global Human Resource executive.  She holds a BA in Biochemistry from UT and an MS degree in Human Resource Management from Houston Christian University.  Today she works with Christian authors, non-profits and missionaries consulting on strategy and building websites.

Melanie Sanderson

Melanie is also a local actress and member of the Heritage Ranch Theatre Guild.  She is a highly experienced and sought after Bible Study teacher who builds biblical curriculum.  Melanie retired from dental practice management four years ago after 30 years in the field and got to Heritage Ranch as fast as she could!  She considers it a privilege to teach God’s word in the many places and cultures she has been able to do so.

Pat Wiley

Pat is our songbird and membership chair. She leads us when we sing hymns, and ensures we all have nametags.
